    Only a Child is a visual poem created by over 20 animation directors under the artistic supervision of Simone Giampaolo, which gives shape and colour to the original words spoken by Severn Suzuki at the UN Summit in Rio in 1992, a child’s desperate call to action for the future of our planet. An omnibus film celebrating the environmental youth movement 30 years in the making.

    Guillaume Fournier is a screenwriter and a documentary director based in Quebec City. As a screenwriter, he has signed several short films, including Two Dollars and Free Fall. As a director, he notably co-signed the documentaries Acadiana and Belle River. In 2018, he wrote the screenplay for Elsewhere, his first feature film.
    Samuel Matteau is a director based in Quebec City. Over the years, he has directed the short film Chargé, the feature documentary Le combat silencieux and the feature film Elsewhere. He works in the field of video games and is also part of the board of directors of KINOMADA, since 2019, as vice-president.
    Yannick Nolin is a Quebec City based filmmaker and photographer. He is the co-founder and artistic director of KINOMADA. He has directed dozens of short films and was the director of photography for several shorts and features films, like Quatro Lunas, noted by the New York Times for its “”superb”” photography.

    Itai hagage

    Itai Hagage was born in Jerusalem, Israel, 1993. He moved to Costa Rica with his family in 2002. In October 29th 2016 I graduated from Universidad Veritas with honors as a CG Generalist. Currently I am focused on 2D and 3D animation, both traditional and digital art.

    The world is uninhabitable and flooded, and everyone has fled. Except from John and his concerned boyfriend Benjamin. When Benjamin finds a radio and wants to flee, John’s utopian dream of creating a self-sustained world starts falling apart. John embarks on a destructive mission to force them to stay together.

    VEGARD DAHLE:
    Vegard has a bachelor’s degree in Film and Digital Media from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. He’s been an in-house director at the production company Spætt Film the last five years. Before that he worked as a cinematographer. He has previously directed the short documentary Off the Grid (2019) about sustainable living.

    LINE KLUNGSETH JOHANSEN:
    Line Klungseth Johansen has a master’s degree in film studies, and works as a director and producer at Helmet Films & Visual Effects.
    She has directed and produced several award winning short films and music videos shown at numerous festivals worldwide.
